Black Menopause & Beyond

My name is Anita Powell. I'm a 50-year-old black female born in the UK I am suffering from the symptoms of perimenopause. A few years ago, I noticed that my body was responding different to how it used to be. Conversations with my peers and they too were noticing changes. I felt my overall health was deteriorating. As a 40 something year old woman I never really explored the topic of my health; I just lived it but not optimised on my health. After research I realised that I need to rethink my behaviour and take care of me.    Within the podcast I will be discussing the Menopause, Midlife, and Beyond, looking at life from my perceptive, a black female, exploring health and lives of women. Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/black-menopause-and-beyond.
