Flexi School Mum Life | Home education, Flexi-schooling, family wellness, parenting tips, and real countryside living
Welcome to FlexiSchool Mum Life – the podcast where learning happens in muddy fields, the kitchen, and sometimes even in an actual workbook (if we’re lucky). I’m so glad you’re here! I’m SJ—a former teacher, qualified personal trainer, farmer’s wife, and full-time mum navigating the wonderfully chaotic world of flexi-schooling and home education. We live in the countryside, where our days are a mix of phonics, puddles, PE in the garden, and the odd escapee sheep. You know, the usual! This podcast is your companion for those “am I doing this right?” days. Whether you’re just dipping your toe into the flexi-schooling pond, deep in the home ed trenches, or simply curious about how anyone gets anything done with kids, dogs, and no bell schedule—this is for you. Each week, I’ll be sharing honest chats about our learning journey, tips from my teaching days, how I sneak fitness into the madness, and stories from the farm (some educational, some just muddy). You’ll also hear reviews of kid-friendly places and activities—because sometimes we all need a day out that doesn’t end in someone crying in a car park. There’ll be solo episodes, guest interviews with fellow parents and educators, and lots of encouragement along the way. No pressure, no perfection—just a real mum figuring it out, one muddy footprint at a time. So grab a cuppa (or my favourite energy fizz)and let’s have a good old natter about life, learning, and everything in between. Welcome to Flexi Mum Life. Let’s learn as we go—together. www.fleximumlife.com thefleximum@gmail.com The information contained herein is for informational and educational purposes only, and should not, and in no way should, be perceived as or relied upon in any way as medical, mental health, health care or nutritional advice.
