When we think of stress we think of things that make a stressed like emails from our boss or family crisis or even somebody just cutting us off in the road but stress comes in many different forms.
Having too many calories or even not enough calories is a stress on the body. Your body prefers maintenance calories it doesn't always want to be in a deficit and it doesn't always want extra calories these both add stress to the body.
Just like with calories you can you can exercise too much or too little. Working out 5 to 7 days a week and not taking rest days is a huge stress on the body. Again your body needs those rest days to recover from the stress of the workouts that you're putting them through.
