The average woman diets twice a year, some start in their teens, others start in their 20’s. These are full on attempts at trying to lose weight followed by periods of gaining it back, eating very little to reach their goal and then going back to what they were doing before, this is also coupled with a typical week of eating very little, followed by a weekend of binging.
Repeating this cycle over and over is one of major reasons for disordered eating behaviors, hormone imbalances, not being able to lose weight and seeing belly fat come seemingly out of nowhere. We see very little progress when we attempt to diet because we are always on a diet!
We are often thinking too short-term, just trying to lose weight, not willing to play the long game.
Being successful with fat loss (losing the jiggly stuff rather than just losing weight on the scale) depends on much more than just your current diet…
